NEW DELHI: Google said Monday it will invest $10 billion in India over the next five to seven years as it battles rivals like Facebook and Amazon in the vast market of 1.3 billion consumers.    Chief executive Sunder Pichai told a virtual Google in India event that its fund would help "accelerate Indias digital economy" and will include investing in local firms and infrastructure in areas like digital payments, education and health.   "There's no question we are facing a difficult moment today, in India and around the world. The dual challenges to our health and to our economies have forced us to rethink how we work and how we live," Pichai said.   "But times of challenge can lead to incredible moments of innovation," Indian-born Pichai said according to a transcript of his remarks released by the US search engine giant.   Foreign firms have spent tens of billions of dollars in India in recent years as they fight for a piece of the Asian

Everything We Know About Netflix's 'Dark' Season 3

Season 2 arrived last June and came back bigger than before, gaining a ton of traction online due to its ever-more-intricate storyline and steady stream of reveals that begged for further explanation. Because you're probably dying to know when we'll get more adventures that explore the space-time continuum with Dark's leading trave

In Netflix's recent announcement of The Protector's fourth season, the streaming service billed its first original Turkish series' latest installment like this: "The struggle is ending. Either the past will win or the future." If the tagline sounded cryptically final, it's because The Protector will not return for Season 5, according to multiple Turkish news outlets. The last 10 episodes of the superhero drama that hit Netflix on July 9 will reportedly be the last. The fantasy series centers on the epic adventures of young shopkeeper Hakan (Çağatay Ulusoy) "whose modern world gets turned upside down when he learns he’s connected to a secret, ancient order, tasked with protecting Istanbul," per Netflix's official description. "At the story's start, Hakan couldn't be further from a hero — just an ordinary guy in this city of 15 million, where East meets West and past meets present. He must quickly learn that his hometown i
